Comprehensive Installation Instructions

Installing applications from sources other than the Google Play Store requires specific system permissions. This process is known as "sideloading." Follow the documented steps below to safely proceed.

Download the APK File

Locate the download section on your device/browser and ensure the file download is 100% complete. Incomplete downloads will cause "Parse Error" messages.

Enable Unknown Sources

Before installing, you must allow your browser or file manager to install apps. Go to Settings > Security > Install Unknown Apps and toggle the permission for the app you are using.

Initiate Installation

Tap on the downloaded .apk file in your notification bar or file manager. A system prompt will appear asking for confirmation. Tap "Install".

Verify and Open

Once the installation bar completes, you will see an "App Installed" confirmation. It is recommended to tap "Open" to verify the application launches correctly to the main menu.

Troubleshooting Tip: If you see an "App Not Installed" error, ensure you have sufficient storage space (at least 500MB free) and that you do not have another version of Hungry Shark Evolution already installed. You must uninstall the original version before installing a MOD version due to signature conflicts.
